Research Interests
at Bipop

  • I am interested in modeling, simulation, numerics, visualisation as well as theory of nonsmooth dynamical systems, especially flexible multibody systems with impact and friction or Filippov systems. This involves the derivation and discussion of analytical and numerical solutions of partial differential algebraic equations with methods from the context of functional and convex analysis, applied geometry, optimisation, as well as geometric integration (cf. the open source software package at Bipop: SICONOS).

  • Applications can e.g. be found in the field of robotics, (optimal) control of flexible multibody systems, computational contact mechanics and electrical circuits.
