webAROM is a knowledge bases
web server : it allows consultation through the World Wide Web of any
knowledge base described
in the AROM knowledge
representation language developed by the ROMANS
project at INRIA Rhône-Alpes.
AROM is a Object-Oriented Knowledge Representation System allowing the
representation of concepts in the form of classes hierarchies and of
relations between concepts in the form of associations.
webAROM is a generic web
application allowing the consultation and edition of any AROM knowledge
base through the world wide web.
From any on-the-shelf web-browser,
a user can connect to webAROM and consult the whole content of the available
knowledge bases. Only autorized users can also modify these knowledge
bases. Moreover, a simple annotation mechanism allows the experts to
put comments about the content of knowledge bases in order to make them
evolve toward consensual knowledge bases.
