Focus range: 1m (an image of a video or computer screen appears at a distance of several feet)
A small 'micro display' is used to generate the image that the user sees. The light rays from the display are relayed to the eye through reflectors within the eyeglass lens  
  • not intended to provide an immersive environment, rather provide a computer screen similar to a computer monitor; however, well-suited to augmented reality
  • The technology can be applied to both lenses in the eyeglasses to form a 3D image. MicroOptical is not currently developing stereo glasses, but may do so in the future
